Senior Project Manager

Optiveum is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a broader transformation program focused on aligning an isolated Azure data center with group-wide standards, policies, and security requirements. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week from the office, and is available in Łódź, Warsaw, Gdańsk or Gdynia. The contracting party is Optiveum, and the cooperation agreement will be signed directly with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate, plan, and deliver transformation and integration projects in the Azure cloud and cybersecurity domains.

• Own the full project lifecycle, managing scope, plan, budget, risks, and stakeholders.

• Deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile approaches, depending on project needs.

• Apply structured Waterfall practices, including clear phases, documentation, change control, and governance.

• Run Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery where appropriate.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, cloud, business, and security departments.

• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

• Provide clear reporting, risk management, and decision support to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a sole Project Manager on IT transformation and integration projects.

• Strong hands-on experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.

• PMI certification, such as CAPM or PMP, is preferred.

• Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and cybersecurity domains, including firewalls, proxy solutions, DLP, database activity monitoring, endpoint protection, security monitoring, vulnerability management, security baselines, IAM, and network security.

• Outstanding communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
